My name is Einav, I'm an industrial designer based in Tel-Aviv and a graduate of Shenkar College's B.Des program In Industrial Design.

I believe the best way to describe who I am and what I aspire to is through my family and where I come from. I was born and raised in a town just outside of Tel-Aviv, to a French mother and an Israeli father - these two very different cultures have shaped my design esthetics and approach to life.

I guess you could say the many contraditions between here and there, and the opportunities both cultures present have put me in a constant pursuit of finding a way to combine and balance the refined, classical beauty with all that appears to be less sophisticated but is rich in culture, history  & tradition - and to me is home.

My Design Philosophy

choreography is also used to designate the design or order which a dance has "the shapes which are ultimately achieved", and in particular these shapes "as they create one satisfactory artistic or aesthetic pattern," i.e., as they are gathered into one dance whole.

..a creative activity fraught with intention and design but fertilized by the spontaneous and uncalculated. The composing of dances affords an exceptionally instructive example of the rich interplay between the planned and the unexpected."

-Chance and Design in Choreography . George Beiswanger.

I have a high regard for minimalist esthetics in design and and am constantly inspires by graphic design, architecture, motion & urban culture. I believe in incorporating observation of human behavior and rituals into my projects and find that the great power of design lies in communicating a basic relatable experience. Therefore, a designer should aspire to minimal interference, creating a flexible range of use 'margins' - allowing people to experience a product in their own unique interpretation, integrating it into their lives through personal everyday interaction.

Taking into consideration we're over surrounded by objects - I believe each new addition should be meaningful and incorporate itself into our lives, and not the other way around.
